Great details including mistake. Practice is the main thing. But if you're practicing the "wrong" technique or mistakes, once it embedded to your muscle memory, it is very hard to fix.

A bit strange, but I've always been able to pull of the elastico. Probably because I broke it down like you said, but I had already known to do that from the start. Just took a bit of practice and I can even pull of Triple elasticos if you've heard of them

2 decent tips is:
1: keep the ball as close as your other feet but have enough space to put your other feet between the ball and the feet
2: try and not to use the elcastico far away, keep in in your range where it’s easier to use it or just do what tip 1

One question, I try to “flap” by hitting the ball above/at the middle to keep it from rolling over my foot, it this something you think about when executing that part? …Also, Ronaldinho was a magician w/ this move. I could try for 20 yrs and not get close; amazing.
